I don't think they did kiss, because Katara seemed so shocked in the Day of Black Sun. I think the reason Katara blushed at the end is because, well, she probably kinda wanted to kiss him and visa versa.

I'm not sure if Katara and Aang kissed. I don't really mind not knowing either. Their relationship is satisfactory in my eyes so I think that they may have kissed.

Yeah lol..I don't really know if they kissed or not...it was said that love will light the way, but you don't HAVE to kiss to show love!
I think katara's blushing in the day of the black sun was..well, she didn't exactly see it coming ya know? Just one of those surprise 'omg' moments lol

Yeah I think she was so shocked by Aang just going for it (I'm so proud of you Aang)
but I also think they did kiss in CoTL cause of Katara's blush at the end, so yeah I guess we're never gonna know.

Ok, they talked about kissing, that's fabulous but the lights dimmed, we saw nothing, and that's reasonable doubt.
Fast forward to Guru, Aang had a really hard time telling Katara that he loved her. Clearly their relationship was still that of friendship because it would have been a little easier (and not so delayed) if they had kissed.
Fast forward again to DoBS, she was WAY too surprised that he kissed her. Eyes open staring at him after he left, not aware of anything else. A second kiss wouldn't have been that disorienting.
My thoughts. Sorry

Anyway, I've heard your theories enough that I'm not even gonna try to change your mind!
But we have canon evidence that the scene was in fact romantic in Katara's POV. If you saw the season 2 recap you'll know what I'm talking about..
That's something to make all of us happy, right?

Yes i fully belive they did i lightend up one of the pic's as close as i could get to it and they where very very close i do no belive they could of pulled away.

Yeah, im not sure if they kissed, at first i thought they didn't , but when i saw the recap and Katara mentioned CoTL kiss, i assumed they did, because i thought that it showed that she really does love him, and it was irrelevant for her to mention that if it never happened just my thoughts though.
